Sign-in
Conference Sign-in is located in Level 2 East at the Duke Energy Convention Center.
Monday, July 13 @ 3:00pm – 8:00pm
Tuesday, July 14 @ 7:00am – 5:00pm

Please visit the registration/information desk if you require special assistance
while at the conference.
Attendees Accompanied by Family Member(s)
While the Reading Institute will take place during the summer, many families incorporate vacations with this educational opportunity. Due to limited
space/food/beverage, and for security purposes, only registered attendees will be permitted to attend conference sessions.
Message Board
A message board will be located in the registration area. You may use it to keep in touch
with other participants.
Nurse’s Station
A nurse’s station will be available in the lobby for any conference participants who may need
minor medical assistance while at the convention center.
To Report Any Type of Emergency
In the event of an emergency, please notify the registration or information desks of the situation.
Name Badges
Please wear your name badge at all times. For your safety and protection, your conference name badge
is required for admission to all Reading Institute events, including all food functions. Replacement of lost
name badges will require identification.
Dress
It may be hot outside, but it can be chilly in the Duke Energy Convention
Center – please dress in layers!
Bring a jacket or light sweater and wear comfortable shoes.
Luggage Check
Does your airplane leave Cincinnati Thursday afternoon? Luggage check will be available on
Thursday,
July 16th at the Duke Energy Convention Center at no cost to attendees. Please look for the “Luggage Check” signs.
Fire Marshal Regulations
Fire marshal regulations will not permit standing in breakout rooms or the main hall during the plenary sessions.
Please let the conference planning staff know if you need special accommodations.
Session Handouts
Handouts from all breakout sessions will be made available to all attendees after the conference.
Please take handouts only from the sessions you are attending.
Evaluations
Individual session evaluations will be distributed and collected at each breakout session. Overall conference evaluations
will be distributed and collected online. They will be sent to the e-mail address you provided when registering. We encourage
you to take the time to complete your overall evaluation so your feedback can be factored into future planning.
